Quoted the price of $200 plus tax over the phone and was later told th... read more Quoted the price of $200 plus tax over the phone and was later told the charge was $276 plus tax due to the programming of convertible top. I expressed to the mechanic, who I assume was the owner, the price I was told and I would like it to be honored. I was then told by the mechanic I was quoted $212.50 plus tax over the phone which I expressed was not what the lady told me. In addition to not being charged the right amount I asked the receptionist if it’s possible for the mechanic put the battery housing cover back on the battery once complete since an O’Rileys worker removed it to inspect the battery. She stated it wasn’t a problem which I later discovered it was not done. I’m extremely dissatisfied with the level of service I was provided given it was my first time having maintenance done at the shop.

Did not want to go to the Dealer so the local auto parts store in Webster recommended Gulf Coast Auto. I called them and scheduled an appointment, Wow nice shop, good crew and no run-around. Turns out wit was no biggy, in and out in less then a day for a fair price.

I brought my 2014 F250 Diesel in for a performance issue that the local Ford Dealer could not figure out. They plug in a laptop, danced on some keys and remap my entire engine computer with a Ford update? Next thing you know I am out the door with no further issues. I was actually very impressed, I did not say a thing, paid the bill and left. Truck runs great. Is this what auto repair has come to? These guys did not even open the hood. I am an engineer, I cant hang with these guys, man have things changed.
