When I first called, it was to schedule an appointment to have a used car (a Lexus) checked out before I bought it. I spoke with the owner, who offered me advice on how to evaluate both the car and the dealer, and said he could accommodate my needs at any point that day or the next in regards to the inspection. I ended up liking the car and drove with the dealer to the shop. When we arrived, a mechanic immediately drove the car, then put it up on the lift to check it out. The owner came into the waiting room and asked me to step into the shop to look at the car with him. He showed me the undercarriage (which was essentially rotting away) and told me I absolutely should not buy the car. I was disappointed, of course, but so appreciative that the owner was not only up-front with me, but then didn't even charge me for the visit!!! I would absolutely service my car at Bay Diagnostic! Any questions I had were answered immediately and if there were any unforeseen issues, I was assured via phone calls that the right job would be done. They have made me feel secure in that both myself and my family would be safer after this repair. My car rides and steers as good as it did when I first bought it. I am a long time customer, the last 12 + years, and I will keep coming back because they completed the work within 1 day after making an scheduled appointment.
