Hook Tire on Archdale drive is dishonest with car inspections. They will fail your car and tell you a belt needs replacing or something else random. This happened today(Oct 2012) to me when they had already replaced the belt previously(Oct 2010). I honestly think they tried the same trick they did two years before. I went to another inspection station immediately after and passed inspection no problem and was told the belt had definitely not been replaced as Hook had claimed. All research said the belts usually last 50,000 plus miles. Totally dishonest business, please do not visit and tell friends and family not to visit as well. Kevin Fairman was the owner and he did not want to work with me or listen to my claims the belt did not need replacing. I think he thought he could take advantage of a woman! Also my regular mechanic told me the belt was probably never replaced when they said it was done in 2012. STAY AWAY!!!
