Car was making unusual sound, brought it into TGK, they diagnosed it a... read more Car was making unusual sound, brought it into TGK, they diagnosed it and gave me a written estimate for $1100 decided to get a second opinion ad that seemed high….. was able to have the car looked at by another established mechanic who said it needed $200 worth of work…. works great now and our family will no longer be a returning customer to TGK as we no longer have the confidence that they are being honest in their evaluation of work needed
they replaced my break pads, and a couple weeks later they began squea... read more they replaced my break pads, and a couple weeks later they began squeaking when I was breaking. I brought it back in, but they didn’t hear the squeak or take the time to figure out what was going on. They dismissed my concern, saying maybe my breaks were dirty, wet, too hot…. and sent me home. I took my car to Brooklyn Park TGK and they took the time to figure out why my breaks were squeaking - Maple Grove put in the wrong kind of breaks. Maple Grove TGK is going to replace my breaks for the correct kind, but I don’t trust them to do it right. They have been rude and dismissive to me, and didn’t fix my car like they should have. I’m extremely disappointed and would not recommend them to anyone.
Car had a misfire and check engine light oil was changed on Thursday ... read more Car had a misfire and check engine light oil was changed on Thursday and you changed it on Friday my son spent 120 for oil changes in 24 hours and then you added on a tire rotation just to run up the bill for him. Spark plugs are 20 dollars each. Really. Still not sure how many people are paying for tire rotation to fix a engine problem WOW////
