Paid for a rebuild and only got parts replaced. Tony told me they were rebuilding my cvt transmission when in reality all they did was replace the valve body and cones. SIX months later it went out again they had it for two and a half months and it still wasn't fixed. Had to have it towed to a reputable company to have it fixed right which cost me more money on top of what I paid them to do in the first place

WHEN I ARRIVED I WAS TOLD THAT THEY WERE TOO BUSY AND BOOK ANOTHER APPOINTMENT IN 3 DAYS, BUT CALL AHEAD BEFORE BRINGING THE TRUCK IN. I CANNOT TAKE HALF A DAY OFF ON THE CHANCE THEY CAN FIT ME IN FOR THE APPOINTMENT I ALREADY MADE. THE COMPANY HAS RECENTLY CHANGED HANDS AND I USED TO GIVE THEM A LOT OF BUSINESS UNTIL THEY SCREWED ME OVER

Supposed to take less than a week, took longer. When it was picked up, supposed extra parts/labor were needed so that amount was more than estimate. Paid a drove off the route and same problems developed less than a mile from shop. They claimed it needed to be reprogrammed and they had to take to dealership. No call from them, had to try to reach them (they shut off the phones or people are simply not available. Finally reached them and was told the dealership said the needed to replace a part and it was on order. Now three weeks later, the owner can't be reached, the mechanic says that it has to go back to the dealer to be reprogrammed again, and they're waiting to hear from the dealership. I called the dealership in Lakeland and they said they don't work on Minis. Closest one is in Orlando and they have no evidence of working on the car either. My next step is an attorney. There's no way this guy should be in business.
