I took my college students car to Lake Elmo repair for an oil change a... read more I took my college students car to Lake Elmo repair for an oil change and a headlight being out. I told the tech that the headlamp was brand new (and retested in the other headlamp) and that the problem had to be in the wiring harness. The total charge was $165. It appears they simply replugged the light in. My student told me 2 days later the “oil change” alert was still on and that the headlight was out (again). I had him take the car back to Lake Elmo Repair and they told him he would need to bring it back with an appointment. I don’t think it is fair to expect us to have to come back according to their schedule when the problem was the poor workmanship of Lake Elmo Repair. I figured the convenience of this shop would be worth it - but it’s not. I’m going back to Myron’s
3 times I had to pull the tranny out of my truck and bring it back to ... read more 3 times I had to pull the tranny out of my truck and bring it back to them to fix it within a months time they bwould not cover the warranty. the didnt replace the valve body or selonoid pack. after the 3rd time the owner told me I was SOL and hung up on me and blocked my number. the worst customer service I have ever experienced

They have saved me hundreds of dollars compared to my dealership quotes. Love the local, small business attitudes that are so far and few these days. They are proud and stand behind their work!!
