We took our Lexus SUV in for rear brakes (pads and rotars). While driving it home, we immediately notice a noise coming from the rear wheels and brought it back to them the following day. The owner, Scott, took it for a test drive and thought the rear brakes needed to be bled, so I agreed to have them do that (at a cost of coarse). We were still hearing the noise when we got it back. About a week later the noise suddenly began to sound like a freight train (seriously). A mechanic at service garage that I drove by said it sounded like the parking brake, which it turned out was the case. I had to have it towed to Prestige, at 7:45am on a Monday. They finally got it back to us on Wednesday at about 4:00pm. In all, we were without use of our SUV for 7 days-for a brake job. In all fairness, they fastened a shield that was loose under the truck- as a token of apology I suppose. They didn't charge me for fixing what they knew they missed, but I feel he should have gotten to it sooner. Sorry! We won't be back! Rudy (Shorewood)
I found Midas West Allis on yelp and after checking different positive... read more I found Midas West Allis on yelp and after checking different positive reviews about them I decided to go there for oil change. I made an appointment one day before and drove up their shop after two days of my scheduled appointment but I was treated like a regular customer and my car was taken in and worked on immediately. They really proved what a customer service mean. I am really grateful to the knowledgeable and helpful mechanics they have.
