DISHONEST, ARROGANT & UNRELIABLE = Someone needs to tell Tim that Not ... read more DISHONEST, ARROGANT & UNRELIABLE = Someone needs to tell Tim that Not getting caught in a LIE is Not the same as telling the TRUTH, especially, after he jacks you around for "four months", as if having an office at the Marina is not close enough to meet you at your boat THEN, tells you that he is, suddenly, too "overwhelmed", when you could have, already, had it "done" by someone else, PLUS he tried to Steal work that I told him I had "promised" to other people, before he chose not to do ANYTHING !!!
Scheduled a diesel survey on a boat I was interested in. All the spec... read more Scheduled a diesel survey on a boat I was interested in. All the specifics of the engine was discussed before hand. When he arrived, he stated he wasn't familiar with this specific engine but shouldn't be a problem. He should have mentioned that before he came out and I should of sent him on his way at that point but was in the middle of a full marine survey and haul out. Spent about an hour looking at the engine and came up with a "looks good" statement. Wrote up a 1 page report double spaced with hardly any information worthwhile to help with a decision. Charged me the yard rate a 3 hours. Needless to say, I am repowering in less than six months after his thorough diesel survey.
