They told me the battery was so dead that it could not even be jump started. I have driving for over 50 years, so I knew this was total nonsense. They also quoted me a price to replace the fuel pump that was $200 more than D&L Automotive, so I jump started the car without a problem and rushed off to get it fixed by someone I knew would not rip me off. I had the battery tested and it was OK and just needed a recharge.
Id like to know how the gasket was replaced without removing the bolts... read more Id like to know how the gasket was replaced without removing the bolts holding the pan on. Upon doing an oil change I noticed the pan bolts were covered with the same amount of years worth of oil and dirt build build-up as the bolts on the transmission pan which had never been removed. The work was obviously never done. Charged for. Just not done. Their comeback was "Well, that stuff builds up pretty fast." Yeah, right.
