I decided not to get some of the work done there as I found much cheaper options elsewhere, but that was my choice and not a problem with Nielson’s. My main frustration is that a day after I had my car looked at there (and had the problems they identified addressed by another cheaper garage), the car failed a safety inspection for three things that did not show up anywhere on their report: parking break not holding, and a front and rear marker light out. Those seem like very easy things to identify, especially the lights, so not sure why they were missed.

I have been a customer for a very long time and have never had an issue with any repairs or maintenance they have performed for me. I would highly recommend them to anyone that needs a great trustworthy mechanic. Jim & his crew are great!
