Not a horrible place to shop or get parts for the DIY guy, BUT do not let them work on your ride!! I normally do all my own work but in this case I was going to be out of town for work. So against my better judgement, I took my sons 2014 Yamaha in for service before the 2016 racing season began. While the service was provided in a timely manner. This shop pulled the ol' fix this but break that so they have to bring the bike back scam. Again the service was provided, but upon pick up I get the "you had some spokes lose line". Of course they tightened them! Two rides later we had spokes breaking like banjo strings! And no these we not hard rides just trail rides(my sons only 12). So I call Cycle Connection, "my shop guys know better than to over tighten spokes" was the reply I got. I explained that my son had a race in a week and that I felt since they made a mistake they should fix the bike. I even told the owner that I would pay for the spokes, but that it had to be done by the upcoming weekend. I could go on and on, but to shorten the story up. I had to have the bike picked up. After it was dropped off, Cycle Connection waited until "I" called them to inform me that the bike wasnt going to be ready. Now Im paying three times the price for a spoke kit due to the overnight charges, and I will fix the bike myself(like I should have to start with). In summary, if your a DIY guy and need parts this is not a bad place. If you need work done, LOOK ELSE WHERE! Im only writing this review because I know that there is allot of people out there who enjoy riding, but do not/ or can not work on their own rides. Trust me, since this has happened Ive researched Cycle Connection, and the majority of reviews and people Ive talked with all say the same thing. SCAM SHOP!!!

The owner Travis Jones doesn't seem to care, very arrogant little guy who likes to boast about his personal racing accomplishments. Who cares?? Just fix my bike in a timely way and quit waisting my time. And stop talking about women like they are objects, you think people can't hear you when you are in the back, but the customers surely can and it's offensive, even for an older guy like myself. The 50s are over buddy, women are not the lesser species. While he's out joy riding on his bikes and racing, my bike isn't fixing its self. He also likes to use the line...."the part distributer sent us the wrong part" . I've been given that line on more than once. Yeah right, you mean your shop ordered the wrong part is more like it, or perhaps didn't order it at all. If you want to wait three months to get your ride so called "fixed" be my guest. But be warned, a month after your repair job. The "fix" is broken again. And then you are expected to pay for yet another so called "fix" again because they didn't get it right the first time. no thank you. Will be taking my bike to roanoke from now on. The hour drive is worth it and I'm not waisting another riding season waiting on these jack offs. Stay away from this place. This bike shop and their employees are a joke. weird and very loud hippy music always playing and just very rude and unprofessional. Too bad it's the only bike shop in town right now. Hopefully a more professional and customer friendly place will open up soon and blow this one out of business. It's a rip off. Its like going to bad strip club, you go to him with money in your pocket, leave without anything to show of it and a bad taster in your mouth. AVOID THIS SHOP. The showroom pictures he has on his website are of a joint that doesn't even exist! Shame on you Josh!
