I went to this gas station to redeem about 30 lotto tickets for someon... read more I went to this gas station to redeem about 30 lotto tickets for someone else, because I do not play. When I walked in and asked the gentlemen behind the counter if I could cash these it he said how much is it, and I replied I have no idea. (These aren’t scratch off tickets). He pointed at a Texas Lottery machine and said “go over there”, without any other direction. Now a little about me, I’ve been in IT for 25 years and have my own IT Company. As I read, it says scan and I did all of them but the “pigeon speed” internet connection wasn’t giving an amount back. There is currently no one in the store but me and this jerk. Regardless, I ask hey do you mind showing me why it’s not giving me the “amount” you’re requesting? He stops over to where I’m at and says “stick it up to the scanner”. At this point I’ve had enough and said I’ll just go to another store until you can fix this slow machine since you don’t want to help me. He said watch your language and told me to leave and I did. But before I could get out of the door he wanted to tell me he was the owner of the store and he better not ever see me in his store again. And then he came outside and took my license plate down. I told him he better be glad he’s on his property because no rotten mouth jerk ever gets away with talking to me like that. (I’m not innocent but I had enough).
