I recently took my bike in for: 1. complete electrical Wire harness replacement 2. powder coat wheels and belt disk 3. remove factory air filter box and replace K&N cone filter. 4. replace front brake system 5. instal new exhaust. 6. relocate battery box. 7. remove rejet and adjust needle on carb 8. New Head and Piston I have no complaints, only compliments. The work was performed professionally and quickly. The results, fantastic. It is like a whole new bike. The powder coat looks great, the relocation (his great idea) is awesome. He went way above and beyond on both service, recommendation and newbie guidance. I plan a near return for new fender, tank and seat etc without any reservation. Mitch was honest, engaged and practical, a rare combination in my book.

The headlight did not work, he said that it was wired wrong and I needed a new relay. That was suppose to be the only problem. I did not know how to ride my bike at the time, so he took over a month to fix these things. but he was constantly working on someone else's bike. He never returned my calls I would have to call multiple times just to get an update. He finally finishes my bike and i get it back, I still didn't know how to ride so I would just move it around in my garage so my new tires wouldn't get messed up. Around 9 months go by and I have time to take the class to learn to ride, after I finished my class I get home and put a new battery in my bike go to start it up and, BAM!!! the gas just pores out of my bike plus the lights don't work. So I put it back in the shop, not this one of course. and come to find out he has wired the light wrong and it burned out my brand new relay so I have to buy another one. plus I have absolutely no rear breaks. Thank God I did not know how to ride when he so called fixed my bike and inspected it for me, cause I would have probably kilt myself thinking I had breaks when I didn't. If you are not one of his buddies I would not suggest using this shop, the service is poor and clearly the quality of work is subpar.

Sure his shop is not spotless but he is a very conscientious small business working man. I plan to have him Powder coat bike parts in the near future. As for Duane. Whats your problem? A. You need to learn how to spell and know when to use words properly; such as when you used "their-to show possession” versus "there- place or location". B. harbor "fright" gun. Sounds scary-ha!. I think you meant to say, Harbor Freight Tools. You need to learn to spell or spell check. C. You complain that he uses this paint gun and a “home cooking oven” to put out a show room finish. My take is as long as Red Aces uses a good brand and quality paint- does it matter what type of gun he uses? Does a home cooking oven have “better” heat then a high dollar commercial oven? 400 degrees is 400 degrees no matter what oven is used to heat the parts that are being powder coated. (and chrome powder coating is NOT the same as real Chrome- that is why the EPA has all but shut down most chrome shops) D. Duane, Not going back is your prerogative, but if you are going to “dog” someone you should present actual facts to back you up and not just disparage a person’s equipment. Perhaps in time, Red Aces will invest in better name brand equipment. E. Best of luck to you! I would have shown you the door!!
