The owner accused me of stealing my own car and after that he dodged my calls and my car was never paid for or recovered. It was a loss and at the time I didn't have the money or time to take him to court. I hope Karma takes care of him and his bad business practices

I called to check if it was repossessed the day of. They said that they sent a "stamped" letter in the mail however I didn't receive a physical copy. (This legally covers them, if they send a letter. Doesn't matter if you get it or not) I was told by Brian (Last name unknown) that the latest I could pay the fees were on the 10th day of storage. He expressed could pay the late fee and note combined to get the car back. The exact words were "you owe me 785...come in today before 5:00 to pick it up" Well I had to gather the amount before paying it. This took time. When the 10th day came I got out of class late afternoon and called to make the FULL payment. He then told me that the car may have been auctioned. He told me that the auction happens on the 10th day at 9am. (This was not expressed to me before. If it was, I would have made different payment arrangements) HOWEVER He didn't call me back directly. I actually found out this fact from my co-signer who could be in the office in person at the time. He later walked away from this conversation with the co-signer when questioned about the lack of communication and his contradicting story lines of interactions with me (the buyer) He didn't explain that in reality the 9th day was "the last day to make a payment" . Which he "wasn't legally responsible to do" as I was told. (You see how shady this sounds?) All of my personal belongings in the car were thrown away (jacket, shoes, a few expensive school books) After some investigation and conversations with others I actually paid more money than I should have for the car anyway.

My light had been on for 2 months and I informed the gentlemen at the front desk that I was having issues with the light remaining on despite continuous efforts at putting air in all four tires. He asked me which one it was and I informed him that I wasn't sure. There was instantly a look of discontent across his face. Now, mind you, the business states on it's website that they close at 6:00pm during the week. I got off work at 4:30pm and got there at 4:55pm, hoping to get my tires examined to see what the problem was. The maintenance shouldn't be very long for this type of problem, I thought, and they didn't appear busy at all. I was told to pull my car up to the second bay to have one of the mechanics look at my tires and all he did was put air in my tires. No time whatsoever was taken to actually see if I had a slow leak, nail, etc. I had already told them that putting air in my tires hadn't fixed the issue. They wanted to get me in and out because it was too close to closing time I assume. After the mechanic finished putting air in my tires, he told me that all my tires were sufficiently inflated except for the right rear which, before he put air in it, had a significant lower tire pressure than the rest. To me, that would signal that maybe you should actually EXAMINE the tire to find out why the pressure is so much lower than the rest of the tires. That action wasn't taken and I rode home with my issue unresolved. I then made an appointment for the next day to take my vehicle to a Honda dealership where they took the time to look at my tires and found a nail in my right rear tire! And guess what, the maintenance time didn't take long at all! I am thoroughly disgusted with Grimes on Hacks Cross and will never do business with them again. I will definitely recommend not to take your car here for any maintenance purposes.
