But a garage in Hartwell recommended that we go here and talk to the mechanic Darrell first. Well, that was a good recommendation. On the first visit, it took him a couple of hours to look at the problem, but he didn't have one of the necessary parts. So, he ended up having to go to Anderson to get it. We came back a few days later, and Darrell finished fixing the problem in about 20 minutes. He said that the blower he got in Anderson cost about $280, but then our total bill was only $335! I asked him how much we would've paid if we'd taken the car to Anderson, and he said, "Probably around $600 or $700." We offered Darrell a tip, but he wouldn't take it. Anyway, we were very please with the job he did, and he saved us a bunch of money.
My husband and I were heading back to NC from GA and stopped in Hills ... read more My husband and I were heading back to NC from GA and stopped in Hills for gas and a restroom break and when I got out of the truck I realized I could hear Christian Music playing through the speakers at the pumps. As I proceeded to go inside I found it was playing in there as well. The store was emaculate and I realized upon talking to the cashier they DO NOT sale alcohol products or lottery tickets. Praise GOD there are people who dont bend their faith in Christ to satisfy the world. And as this store was upbeat and modern I am sure their business has truly been blessed. Thank you Hills Exxon and we welcome you to extend business to the East Coast.
