they changed the transmission on my suburban. just under a year we had... read more they changed the transmission on my suburban. just under a year we had problems with the transmission still under warranty. they gave us a hard time about honoring the shoddy work they did. They adjusted the gearbox and sent us away. the tranny blew and screwed up the engine with it.I won't bring a bigwheel to those hacks to fix.
I must say that the folks at Meiser's go above and beyond in the areas... read more I must say that the folks at Meiser's go above and beyond in the areas of customer service, and quality work. We came to The Reading/Topton area of Eastern Pennsylvania to visit family in the nursing home in Topton. We needed to get a family car inspected, but only had Friday to do this (we live in Ohio, and needed to return on Sunday). During the inspection, it was discovered that the car had a bad shock absorber. We were in a bind, as the area dealership could not get the car in on Friday afternoon to fix the issue. I called Meiser's to see if they could get the shocks in, and install them on the car. They called to make sure they could get the parts, and were able to get the car in to install them on Friday afternoon. One of the employees even loaned us a car so we could visit with family at the nursing home while our car was being worked on. This was MORE than over and above the call of duty, and gave us additional time with family that we would have missed out on but for her kindness. We would recommend Meiser's to anyone looking for quality auto work, and excellent customer service!
I had my diesel transmission rebuilt at this garage in January of 2014... read more I had my diesel transmission rebuilt at this garage in January of 2014. I paid $2,450 for this service only to find within a month that I had to take it back in. I repeated this process four times and then asked for my money back. I was told they stand behind their word but have been waiting two months for the check. I am very dissatisfied with this service and I certainly could not recommend it to someone else. Eleven months later and I am still out the money. I am hoping for some Christmas magic.
