A friend told me to take my son's car to Due's Automotive for shocks, ... read more A friend told me to take my son's car to Due's Automotive for shocks, so I took the car & explained to Due that it was a $1500 car that my son takes to work & school. I also explained that if the auto needed any work over $400 I would by him another car. I was not going to put anymore money in the car, he called me the next day to tell me the car was ready. I asked him how much would it cost? And he replied $1350 but if I was going to pay him cash it would be $1200. I explained that it was work that I did not want on the car & his reply was the whole front end was in bad shape. I drove and asked to see the the old parts & Mr. Due told he the the trash was already picked up & the old parts where in the dumpster.

As always, Ken and his guys handled my 1966 MGB with care, and with a ... read more As always, Ken and his guys handled my 1966 MGB with care, and with a new exhaust system in place, it now sounds as good as it runs. This is the place to come if you have a classic British car and live anywhere near Allentown, Pa. It's fun to see what kinds of cars are in the shop — there always seems to be something interesting, like the 1971 Maserati Ghibli I saw when I went to pick up my car. K&T Vintage did an engine rebuild on my MGB a couple of years ago, and I drive it just about every day. It's going to need some body work soon -- the usual rusty rocker panels -- and I'll be bringing it back to K&T for that, and perhaps a full repaint.
