After an hour they said there was a problem with my rear parking break actuator. They said it would cost $80 to fix. I was very suspicious of this because I do all my own maintenance on my cars. We walked out to the shop and I asked them what the problem was. They could not explain or show me the problem. I said I wasn't going to pay them $80 for this repair and take it off the lift. I took my car to another shop and it passed with no problems. Be very suspicious of this business and always get a second opinion.

I had been having a check engine light issue and had been to two other repair facilities without any success. Susquehanna Valley Fleet & Auto was able to figure out the issue and repair it at a fair price.

While they were very friendly, what the mechanic told me turned out to be not quite true. He said that in order to pass inspection, I needed a tie rod along with alignment, 2 new tires and a headlight bucket. All together the estimate came to over $400 which didn't even include the tires. They did not rotate my tires because he said it didn't matter due to needing new tires. I eventually brought my car to a different garage and was told that I will eventually need a tie rod, but not for about 6 months and it wasn't so bad that it would cause me to fail inspection. The headlight bucket did not need to be replaced with a brand new one (over $150 quoted by SVFA) as the new garage was able to fix it for about $20. I believe that since I purchased a discounted service, they needed to make their money back by telling me I needed repairs that I didn't actually need to pass inspection at that time. They boast about "Honesty & Integrity" but I would stay away from that place unless you want to be handed an estimate for hundreds of dollars worth of work that you may not actually need.
