Purchased a boat used from a friend that had it in for work on the two... read more Purchased a boat used from a friend that had it in for work on the two upper cylinders at a shop on 44th. Tom's was the only shop that didn't tell me, four weeks out. Turned out that the flywheel nut wasn't tight and I was lucky that it didn't get cinched up. This other shop on 44th was also supposed to replace the power pack. My boat engine wasn't getting a spark on two cylinders. Guess what?!? The power pack that was supposed to be replaced by this shop on 44th was bad!! I'm back on the lake. I will always take my business to Tom's.

Went to get my two side running boards on trailer re-done (new wood an... read more Went to get my two side running boards on trailer re-done (new wood and carpet) on a Wednesday. They said it would be ready the first of the next week. I called the next Thursday and they said they were short a man for three days and that was the reason for the delay. Asked if I was wanting to use it that weekend and I said I was going on a fishing trip Tuesday during the day with my daughters. They said it would definitely be complete by Tuesday. I called Monday afternoon and they said they were working on it and said it would be ready by lunch on Tuesday. I called around 1 pm and the lady said it would be done later. When I asked how much later she said she didn t know. Had to cancel my fishing trip with my daughters and they finally called around 4:30 pm to say it was ready. When I got there I went out to look at the boat and noticed my gerber multi tool wasn t where I had left it. I asked the people there if the accidently took it and they said no. Didn t even bother trying to look for it. I then told them I was very disappointed in the service and said if I had known it was going to be twice as long as they told me I would have shopped around and gotten a better price than the 400 they charged me. Their response was I wish you would have. They also said they didn t get the carpet till the day before. ( I don t know anything that takes two weeks to ship) When I asked if they were going to discount my cost due to my gerber coming up missing and the extra time it took they said no. I once again told him I was disappointed and he said I m sorry you feel that way then no, no I m not sorry you feel that way. Hence this negative review. DO NOT GO TO BOATS N MOORE!!! Wish I would have read the reviews before I went to this place. Wish I could give this place negative stars.
