If you are trying to buy something from them and you have any distance to drive, I would read this review first!!! I contacted Teresa Comer (owner of Rehmert's Kawasaki Ktm in Versailles, Ohio) on Thursday May 7th and we discussed a price on a 2008 Kawasaki Ninja 600 that she had listed on Facebook marketplace. Ms. Comer had the motorcycle listed for $4,999, I offered $4,200 because I had to drive over 2 hours to get it and Comer told me she could sell it for $4,500. I told Comer on Friday I would take the bike for $4,500 and that I would be up tomorrow. On Saturday at 9:31 AM I messaged Comer and told her I was leaving now and that I would be up there around 12 noon, she responded with a "thumbs up" on Facebook messenger. After driving for 2.5 hours I stopped to get something to drink and saw that my GPS said I was 22 minutes away, so at 12:01 pm I messaged Comer and told her I was 20 minutes away. Once I hit send I noticed the Facebook posting for the motorcycle had changed to SOLD, I was thinking it was because I was on my way up to buy the motorcycle. At 12:25 when I was turning on the road of the dealership, Comer messaged me back and said that it was already sold, I was livid. I pulled into the dealership and confronted her, and she went on to tell me that her sister had sold the bike almost an hour ago. I asked her why she didn't notify me of someone else looking at it, so that I could have either gave her a deposit to show I was serious, or I could have at least turned around and not wasted another 2 hours of driving. Comer said, "We have been busy, how am I supposed to check my phone all day? How was I supposed to know you were driving 3 hours? Do you call a grocery store and expect them to hold food for you when you are on your way? This buyer had cash so we took it, don't know what else to tell you." I responded, "You didn't have to check your phone all day because I didn't message you after you gave me the thumbs up when I said I was on my way and started driving. I told you in the messages I was over 2 hours away when we were negotiating price. And no, I wouldn't drive 3 hours to a grocery store for food, if I did then yes they would have held it because there is a thing called click-list to order online." This is horrible business practice by a Kawasaki dealership!! I understand they want to sell the motorcycle, but I had said I was on the way from a 3 hour drive, they could have at least notified me and we could have worked a hold payment or I could have turned around and not wasted 2 extra hours of driving if they wanted to sell it to the other buyers. I would never recommend this business to anyone that has to drive more than 30 min away or you risk having it sold while you are on your way there. This place is a JOKE!
