Cricket Engines Performance

It is a shame to say things about a person or place you know nothing of or nothing about because you did,t go by the warranty or didn't give him a call.
first of all Allan has built engines over 40 years and i have never known he to be dishonest nor not willing to make things right if something was wrong.people like Kevin combs from Texas never sent warranty papers back nor told Allan what the problem was just asked for money for repair with out estimate i know cause i was there when Kevin called him.
I bought the 496 stroked anyway and I'm very happy.
the way i see it is Allan is honest and fair. when something goes wrong it is always the builder not the person that waits 2 to 4 yrs later to complain after he messes something up i got 1 yr warranty ,warranty papers that tells you what you have to do just follow the directions that you did NOT read then you would not have these problems.by the way Allan builds over 100 engines a year every one knows he backs up his work so please before you tare some one down know who he is remember he builds engines you don't that's why you bought engine from him .by the way Allan does not work on cars as work advisor says he just build engines /get the facts right

I bought a 350 turn key from Alan in 2018 never ran rite from the get go fouling plugs, leaking oil pan and a leaky water pump from day one I removed valve cover checked torque on heads were not at 70 pounds ran engine about 1000 miles after fixing oil pan and water pump still burning oils removed engine from car took heads and intake off the heads were junk not as advertised he used the cheapest rocker arms on the market I found a whole set for $79 on Amazon the cylinder walls had no cross hatch what’s so ever I did not remove pistons or rods god knows what problems were in there this dude is just a scam artist DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM ALAN HE IS A SCUMBAG AND DOES NOT STAND BEHIND HIS WORK AT ALL 
He is a horrible mechanic and most likely a horrible person karma is a bitch

Engine installed in my car by local shop.  The engine threw a rod on the test drive and I am having to do a complete bottom end rebuild on this brand new motor.  I am having to  pay out of my own pocket as there is no way I am sending back to them to rebuild.

EBAY's Cricket Engine do not last more than 20 minutes before they fall apart!!!!!!! Allan, the Owner when called always has to call on someone else to answer the most simple questions.  He claims to have 35 years experience but he must be on planet Zolton to think he is an engine builder!  DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY.  The other reviews are spot on with this company.  Ebay does not help either. so he gets away with selling crap!  DO NOT BUY. I BEG YOU, YOU WILL REGRET IT!!!!!!!
I am giving one star because the site does not let me give less.  this is not an exaggeration everyone!!!!!!
