They perform quality work at a reasonable price! Dave and Gary have recently rebuilt two Corvette transmissions for me and replaced the transmission cooler lines on my F250 truck. I am more than pleased not only with their workmanship, but, also the way they conduct business. I have sent friends of mine to them and their feelings are the same as mine. I have conducted business with other "so called" transmission shops in the area, but, they can not conpare to "SPEEDY" on Wilbur Road in East Syracuse. So, if you have a drive train problem, don't be foolish by taking the problem elsewhere without first taking it to Dave and Gary @ (315-437-0818). You will be dealing with the best in Central NY and you won't regret it!..Bill

They told me the engine was the problem and it needed to be replaced. They had a rebuilt motor one of the mechanics had in one of his own Vanagons that he was willing to sell. I payed over $2000 for a rebuilt motor and they told me the vehicle was fixed and ready to go on my summer vacation. I drove the Van not 5 miles down the road and it started overheating again; I wanted to cry. I took it back to them and after a few days they told me the overheating was the radiator, NOT THE ENGINE THEY REPLACED. Now I had to pay them for a new radiator plus installation. This is no joke and I wish this wasnt true, but unfortunately it is. They offered me no reimbursement, no nothing. They probably took my original VW engine and put it in their mechanics own VW once they found out they had miss diagnosed the problem. Dont be fooled by Pierce, the owner, I was dealing with him personally and he smiled to my face all the while screwing me hard. As far as mechanics go, trust is very important unless you cars yourself, and Pierce deserves no trust, I learned this the hard way. Also he didnt put the power steering belt on properly when setting the engine up, it kept falling off repeatedly. Stay away!
