Bought a vehicle at Auto Market after a friend's misguided recommendation (she has since been hosed by them as well and regrets the reference). It's been a nightmare since the first week I had the car. I reported everything that went wrong with it over the first few weeks (e.g., heat, tranny leak, carburetor, window, ), and the owner swore to remedy every problem. Instead, his 'mechanic' took my car half a dozen times, claimed to fixed everything, but really just jerry-rigged it (and actually broke more stuff on the car, including the steering column, dash, hood latch and mirror), until I was outside of the 60-day warranty window provided by the lemonade law in Mass. Then told me he didn't have to do anything under the law. Save yourself money, time, and endless hassle. This dealer is the stereotypical scamming, dirty, dishonest, used car dealer.

I have been a customer for the last 5 years and converted a lot of my friends to use G&R auto as the only auto stop for inspections, oil changes, repairs and even to buy a good certified used vehicles. These guys are amazing and know what they doing. George is the owner and he can fix ANY car. REALLY. and the prices are VERY REASONABLE. I highly recommend this place to anybody in Capital District who is looking for knowledgebale mechanic or if you are looking for a used foerign car to buy. A+ G&R auto.
