While in Jay, we had issues with a front ball joint, and the car was not able to be driven. This was late on a Saturday afternoon. I called several garages, and no one was able to help us out. I called Central Garage, and Jay calmly assured me he would come out and tow the vehicle to the garage that day, and would have it fixed Monday. I was also very concerned because I had two rather expensive kayaks on top of the car. I called at 10 AM Monday morning, and it was fixed. The cost for the towing and repair was FAR below what we had expected. The service, communication, and professionalism were unprecedented, and I wish these guys lived in my hometown. Can not say enough good things about this garage, and the employees wo... read more Can not say enough good things about this garage, and the employees working there. My wife and I where on vacation, recently towing our travel trailer. On Memorial Day our brakes went with out warning. Jay got us in on Wednesday, they did the repairs while we had breakfast and walked around town. The price was reasonable, same as we would have paid in our area (Camillus, NY). Don't know we would have done. -Chet
Pierre is the most fair and honest mechanic I have ever encountered in... read more Pierre is the most fair and honest mechanic I have ever encountered in Vermont (and anywhere, for that matter). My car needed some work recently and another shop in Burlington quoted $1500 in repairs to fix it up. I couldn't afford that so, after hearing about him from a friend, I brought it to Pierre and he worked with me to get the cost of repairs down to $400!!!!!! Long story short, I saved $1,100 by going with Pierre and he did a great job. I would recommend him to anyone.
