I took him to court because I paid him 2469 to fix my car but it was never fixed. I won my case, ofc because he was just trying to take advantage of a young, black, single woman. However, he's appealing it just to be a dick. Because he knows exactly what he was doing. The judge obviously agreed. I honestly believe he's prejudice! But evil never wins, love will always prevail... remember that Ron!!!! My neighbor, who referred me to him, doesn't even do business with anymore because he paid him to fix his car but his car still had the same issue! My cousin, had the same exact problem, after a WHOLE YEAR he had to go take his car back still with the same issue! I'M WARNING YOU, IF YOU'RE A PERSON OF COLOR... DO NOT GO HERE!

First, go to Google and look up the 27 reviews which highly rate Syed, the shop owner, as the friendliest, most honest and best mechanic they have known. Ricky is close to perpetrating slander (libel) for writing a personal attack on someone by stretching the actual circumstance of his disappointment. He left a refundable $500 deposit subject to his finance approval. After securing his own financing, he told the dealer to proceed with the NYS Inspection repairs which required another $1000 investment by the dealer into the vehicle. This included fixing the check engine light which by NYS Law is required for all dealer inventory sold. After the repairs were completed, Ricky backed out of the deal because he lost his financing. The signed purchase order in NYS states the dealer is allowed to hold a deposit to recover $damages incurred by customer failure to complete purchase. Ricky agreed that it was fair for the dealer to keep his deposit until the vehicle was sold to another customer so that the invested repair $ could be recovered. Unfortunately due to the Pandemic of Covid 19 and business shutdown, it took many months to resell the vehicle. He has since received his $500 deposit back minus about $50 for paperwork and advertising cost damages which couldn't be recovered. $500 is a lot of money to both parties, especially when your dealership is closed for business during a pandemic.

He is a thief and a liar, and I would highly recommend staying as far away from this junky shop as you can. Not only are the vehicles all high mileage breakdowns waiting to happen (a lit check engine light comes free with purchase), I had to fight with Steve for nearly a year to get back the money he owed me. He kept coming up with excuses and pushing the date back, finally I had enough and threatened legal action before he eventually paid me. He didn't even pay me the full amount owed, knowing it wouldn't be worth the headache to pursue the difference in court. Stay away from this amateur con artist or take the risk and get screwed.
