When you're in and getting the inspection he tells you it's extra for the emissions portion of the inspection so you only save a few bucks off regular price. That's deceiving and untruthful. Makes you wonder how the rest will go- immediately a red flag for me. He soon tells me the rear brakes will need replacing (at an exorbitant amount) and he took me in to show me- he had a hard time getting his gauge to go below the 1/16 of an inch state minimum you need to pass so he was tilting the gauge and tried at least 15 times (not exaggerating) in front of me (but could not produce it) than just said- "yeah those wont pass". He then said I needed a new left front strut as he said it was angled and look bent. He said it made a popping noise when he raised the car on the lift. It did look funny but I noticed they had moved the boot (covering of the strut that looks like an accordion) partially up off the bottom so it was not sitting right- I placed it back down where it should have been and I said, "Well, I'm not seeing what you're seeing." He then told me the strut was only a recommendation and not a part of the inspection. So, I left there without passing (due to the brakes). I took it to another place and they checked both the brakes and the strut (which I told them about) and passed. The moral of the story for me is NEVER GO TO A PLACE THAT STARTS WITH THE WORD "VALUE". In this case it means, more money, dishonest, partial truth and scheming. Also notice on the walls that there are no signs regarding cost of anything! Not even the sign they legally have to post regarding the cost of inspections!

They did paint repair to my car and it was nothing but a headache. OVERSPRAY!!! everywhere, interior carpet, door panel and exterior panels not being repaired!!! Didn't plug my headlight back in, door panel installed improper, missing body push pins, and worse of all BAD BLENDING OF PAINT!!. They offered to repair any issues but I told them first impression are everything and you failed miserably.. I took car to another shop to get thing fixed right. Oh yeah forgot to mention the paint started peeling on the edges after 2months, had a another guy look at it, they said no one sanded the surface down and that's why the paint is coming off. If you like your car or truck avoid this place at all costs!!

I contacted Continental Transmission and decided to have them install a rebuilt transmission with a one year warranty. Over the course of the past year I have had to take the vehicle back 5 times due to transmission problems and a whinning noise from the transmission. I had the vehicle back in to be looked at about 3 weeks ago.. they had my vehicle for 6 days then finally told me that my transfer case was the problem.. not the transmission. Hence.. not covered under warranty and would cost $1300 to repair. The next day I took my vehicle to two other shops (one being the Ford dealer) and was told that my transfer case was fine but was told that my transmission was one the verge of failure. Bear in mind this is less than 24 hours after Continental told me it was fine. I called and spoke with Greg at Continental and repeated what I had been told. I insisted that they replace the transmisson and restart my one year warranty. He reluctantly agreed. So at this point I had been lied to and almost ripped off for another $1300.. but.. what other choice do I have but let them install another rebuilt transmission? After a few days I picked up my truck and everything seemed great. Then I notice that my front license plate is dented along with heavy scrapes to the paint on my front bumper. Now.. 3 weeks later.. the transmission is leaking fluid all over my garage floor. My 4 year old daughter rollar skated though it, fell, and scrapped her knee pretty good.. but thats another story. This time I didn't even bother calling Continental. I took it to a shop in Niagara Falls. I was told, and saw with my own eyes, that the rebuilt transmission from Continental was actually a used transmission that had been spray painted. The transmission gasket was leaking and a bolt was actually broken off and was also repainted. The broken bolt prevents the transmission pan from being tightened properly, thus stopping the leak. I
