As soon as I got off i saw an AAMCO sign across the street. I stopped in at 4:30 in a panic. They checked the car and told me I needed a water pump. They ordered the parts and stayed 90 minutes past closing to wait for the parts and get me on the road. I really appreciate the staff at AAMCO staying to help me out. I was told by another transmission shop in the area that I needed to replace my transmission to the tune of $3000! Took it to AAMCO for a second opinion and spoke to Pat. They called me a couple hours later and told me I needed to have my computer reprogrammed. I picked up the car this evening and the car drives perfect again! Thank you to the honest staff at AAMCO in Carteret. You saved me $2800 and have a customer for life! William Bailey
This place was great. The guy who runs it might be the nicest "car guy... read more This place was great. The guy who runs it might be the nicest "car guy" I've ever met. They drove me home and called me with what they found. Carl went over everything and when I asked a question he was so polite and patient. They even picked me up after the work was done. I can't say enough about Carl or the work they did. My car runs great now and I am going there for everything from now on. They do everything. It's awesome.
