It is best to call them during working hours, describe the issue(s), and set an appointment for drop off. They allow you to drop the keys through a mail slot and leave your car if dropping off before they open. They call you if there are issues and when the auto is ready for pick up. They offer great services, at good prices, give decent estimates, and communicate any issues during the process. The only drawback is that Tom is kind of a curmudgeon. He is a very honest and trustworthy person, but is grumpy nine times out of ten. My wife and I have been going to Stephanou's for about seven years or so. They are awesome.

I have found that there pricing has always been fair and they will look for ways to save you money on parts and they never double dip on labor. That is charging you for the same task twice. For instance if you get your timing belt changed you should also replace your water pump. Most placing will look in the book and charge you labor on each task when in reality labor for removing the belt is loaded into both repairs. J&L will not take advantage of that situation. I am not sure what happened with the review above with the oil change but there is no way in my mind that it could have happened the way she says. Sounds more to me about someone looking for a free repair.

I took my car back and let them know about this problem and the other employees there stated that the guy that did my oil change was not all there ( this is something I really needed to here). they also stated that it was transmition fluid leaking and my hose had a hole in it and the guy was supposed to tell me this at time of service and he must of forgot. I was told bring my car back on monday when the owner would be back. I ran my car as little as possible that weekend and took it back on monday, at which time I was greeted by a rude shop owners wife that made every excuse under the sun for the problem and the statements their employees made. they took my car back into the shop guess what was leaking oh oil. the owner did nothing to fix the problem he stated to me my car was leaking oil when I brought it in and it was not anything they did, but he forgot to tell me on friday because he was in a hurry to leave and get to a meeting. he stated it was miss comunication when I told him that any good mechanic would have told me if I had a leak. I told him to just take my car down repeating myself three times at which time he was very ugly and smart to me. Yes I was upset my car did not leak prior to going in for this service and they had one excuse after another. very disatisfied with this business and their edicate and ethics
