On reviewing the work in the daylight, no caps were installed on three of the new valves. I couldn't tell if there was a cap on the fourth valve because they had hammered on the hubcap over it....... On further inspection I found that all of the wheel balance weights had been left only partially tapped on, and that they had up to four weights in the space of only eight inches or less along the rim. It looked as though they just kept adding them on. Took the car there and they said they'd put on valve caps and re-balance the tires. The desk guy came over in the middle of the redo and said very happily"the balance was only a little off". Okay, well that means that it was off, right???? I leave the place again in the dark and reinspect the van the next day in the light. Two caps on the tire valves fit, and two other caps that were too small were jammed just on the tips of the other two new valves???? The new tire weights were also not fully installed and masses of them clumped around the rims. I think this place just wants to wear you down so you get sick of going back complaining. I mean really, Two trips and they can't even put caps on the new tire valves??????? This place is awful. Two other customers there complaining in the two times I was there. Stay away, they're clueless and hope you are as well.

I brought my car into this shop when a piece of road debris punctured my radiator and broke the cooling fan. When I came to pick up my car I noticed that it was still leaking coolant so I asked to speak to the mechanic who had worked on it. When I asked him why the car was leaking he proceeded into a profanity laced rant. When he finally came out to the car I opened the hood and discovered that the air intake was missing, both headlights were broken, and the car was showing a check engine light. I noticed that the coolant on the ground was green instead of the purple that this car is required to have. When I asked about why the wrong antifreeze was in the car the mechanic, Sergei, stated that there is no such thing as "wrong" antifreeze. On the coolant tank and in the owner's manual VW warns that you cannot use Glycol Ethynol coolant in my car. The bottle the mechanic showed me clearly states that the primary ingredient is Glycol Ethynol. Long story short the manager refused to empty the incorrect antifreeze from my car, but did mysteriously decide to not charge me for the nearly $2000 bill they claimed was owed for the work. Per the VW dealer that is now fixing my car, Sergei, the pepboys mechanic, not only broke both headlights and the air intake, but he also caused the water pump to become jammed which broke the timing chain, destroyed multiple internal seals on the engine, broke an engine sensor, lifted the car incorrectly causing damage to the underside and frame, cut wiring near the radiator, and the "new" radiator they installed is leaking. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!!!!!!! My repair bill at VW is over $2000 and rising. This would cause most people to scrap their car. IF YOU WANT TO KEEP YOUR CAR AVOID THIS GARAGE AT ALL COSTS!!!!! IF SERGEI HAS EVER WORKED ON YOUR CAR YOU NEED TO GET A PROFESSIONAL MECHANIC TO ASSESS YOUR VEHICLE IMMEDIATELY!!!!!!
