Great customer service... Broke down on the Turnpike, limped off exit ... read more Great customer service... Broke down on the Turnpike, limped off exit 12. As soon as I got off i saw an AAMCO sign across the street. I stopped in at 4:30 in a panic. They checked the car and told me I needed a water pump. They ordered the parts and stayed 90 minutes past closing to wait for the parts and get me on the road. I really appreciate the staff at AAMCO staying to help me out. I was told by another transmission shop in the area that I needed to replace my transmission to the tune of $3000! Took it to AAMCO for a second opinion and spoke to Pat. They called me a couple hours later and told me I needed to have my computer reprogrammed. I picked up the car this evening and the car drives perfect again! Thank you to the honest staff at AAMCO in Carteret. You saved me $2800 and have a customer for life! William Bailey
