I just want to say how completely satisfied I am with every aspect of the procedure. The two service advisors working at the time were both very friendly, helpful, and of course knowlegeable about this work and about other automotive issues we discussed. I am from out of state (commute to work) and they helped me take care of an automotive issue and even offered me a variety of solutions that were beneficial for me economically (go figure). Anyway, I have decided that I will continue to seek them out should I have any auto repair needs while in NJ at work. Very forthcoming and clear about what needed to be done and the cost. The manager here comes off a little funny but being knowledgeable abou... read more The manager here comes off a little funny but being knowledgeable about cars myself, I chose to go here after sending my car to another place that claimed to be experts but wanted to charge me for a wrong and unnecessary problem. The mechanics at Independent fixed the actual issues with my car and now it's running very smooth. I found the mechanics to be great. Any negative reviews might be due to irrational costumes who see an old looking independent business and think they can get them to charge under price, then get mad and irrational when they don't. My parents had a housing appliance shop growing up and they'd get the same kind of bs from the locals.
