They ruined my rims and broke a part in my car, replacing it with a ge... read more They ruined my rims and broke a part in my car, replacing it with a generic instead of OEM part. They had their 14 year old sons working in the back, practicing on the vehicles. They denied it. Even though the kid just told me he was learning and working on the cars back there! No wonder why they damaged my rims! When I tried to confront the manager, he got in my face and started screaming at and intimidating me, a small female. When I told a lawyer who was a lifelong customer of theirs about what happened, he said they screwed him over, too. He won’t use them anymore either. Dupont heavily advertises because they damage cars and then intimidate, lie to, and blame the customer. Especially to people here on vacation, because they don’t get the repeat business that many other mechanics depend on. They are completely unethical. Avoid!

Refused to give me the VIR after my car failed inspection so I could see what needed to be repaired in order to pass. Mike stated to me that the state computers were down when I went in for the third time to pick up the VIR. I called the DMV right after leaving the shop and was informed that the computers were NOT down. They told me I needed to have certain things fixed before they could put a sticker on it, but found out after taking my car to another mechanic that they were trying to have parts replaced that didn't need replacing. They broke the knob that releases the hood and failed to tell me. I found out later that day when I took the car to another mechanic that it was missing. It had been there earlier that day because I'd had to have a new battery put in before I brought it to Autocare plus. I am filing a complaint with the DMV and with BBB. It seems, judging by a few of the reviews I've read, that I'm not the only one to have had this kind of bad experience with them. They advertise "honesty, reliability and good customer service" but they are everything BUT that!
