First time customer - I took my Chrysler 300 in for brake noise and wa... read more First time customer - I took my Chrysler 300 in for brake noise and was told I needed new calipers, rotors and fluid. They seemed nice, and told me I also needed new lug nuts because the last garage had put them on too tight. After $1,100 I picked up the car after hours and it still made wheel noise, only this time a bump bump bump sound. I had to take the car out of town the next day. While in VA I stopped for gas and to check out the increased noise. The tire was loose. I had the car towed to a different garage and they told me the lug nuts had not been tightened and the brake line was not properly connected. I called A&J to explain and sent them a copy of the invoice with photos from the other shop. The person on the phone said he'd let the owner know. Since then (one week) I've reached out and have heard nothing. No discussion, no offer to help, no apology. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

We thought we would try a mobile mechanic instead of dealing with towing and repair at dealer. My daughter said they were extremely nice and replaced starter for less than estimate. Would highly recommend !!

I called These guys because they specialize in BMW repair and I am glad that I did. First they quoted me $250 less then BMW for the valve cover, then when they arrived and diagnosed the oil leak to be coming from the oil filter housing. This of coarse saved me quite a bit of money. They could have repaired the valve cover then charged me more to repair the actual leak. I highly suggest using Proficient Auto for all of your Raleigh auto repair needs.
