We have taken this car back three times. The mechanic rode in the car to see what the ongoing issue was and still said it had nothing to do with his repair work. At the suggestion of the manager (because he thought his mechanic new what he was doing) we sought a second opinion. I was confirmed that it was related to the repair work. The manager was apologetic and offered a full refund and I appreciate that. I just don't think the mechanics have the skillset needed for big jobs. Maybe for tire installations and oil changes but not for more advanced things. I should have known this was a bad idea when I took my other car in for an inspection and they removed the tint from my BACK windows not the FRONT windows due to regulations, in order to pass inspection.... Lesson learned.

I take her to Honest-1 for all my oil changes and general maintenance issues. On my last oil change they had a special going for free brake pads if you pay for labor and I was able to snatch that deal up: my pads were well worn down and to the "squeaking at ever stop light stage" of wear. I hadn't had time to get them checked and the guys there offered me the special after an oil change without an extra cost of checking out the break pads or paying for a separate inspection. I was equally pleased with my most recent visit for a check engine light that was fixed and a follow up appointment for NC car inspection that they discounted to a great price! I'll continue to go there so long as I own a car! The people are great and their work is done well. They give quotes for any recommendations they may have and I've never felt like they were throwing crap diagnoses out to boost sales. Just make sure you call an make an appointment: with great service comes a busy business and it may be hard to get in the day you call, but their future appointments are very accommodating.
