Admitted installing the wrong part but charged me labor again to install the correct part and no credit for the wrong part. Even though I expressed my disappointment to the owner I had no choice to pay. First bill of $479 and 2nd bill of $325 +/-
First time customer - I took my Chrysler 300 in for brake noise and wa... read more First time customer - I took my Chrysler 300 in for brake noise and was told I needed new calipers, rotors and fluid. They seemed nice, and told me I also needed new lug nuts because the last garage had put them on too tight. After $1,100 I picked up the car after hours and it still made wheel noise, only this time a bump bump bump sound. I had to take the car out of town the next day. While in VA I stopped for gas and to check out the increased noise. The tire was loose. I had the car towed to a different garage and they told me the lug nuts had not been tightened and the brake line was not properly connected. I called A&J to explain and sent them a copy of the invoice with photos from the other shop. The person on the phone said he'd let the owner know. Since then (one week) I've reached out and have heard nothing. No discussion, no offer to help, no apology. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

They are hard working, honest and very reasonable. Let's be honest, it's hard to find a mechanic who you can trust and is going to do a good job. I've had my share of bad experiences. But these guys know their stuff and really want to do a good job.
