I notice that my vehicle was making some front end noise and I thought I needed brakes. I stopped at a local Auto Zone and bought the brakes and they referred me to Dr Ron. I got there before he opened and once he got there I explained to him my problem. He immediately took me in and determined that I did not need brakes and that the problem was a simple fix. I was grateful that he took care of me for a very reasonable price. The world needs more people like Dr. Ron. If I lived in High Point he would definitely be my mechanic. Thank you for the great service Dr.!!!!

OK? Maybe so......but how did you perform this test when all you did is drive forward into the stall and then the vehicle was on level ground? NOWHERE on the NC DMV website does it say that the vehicle must hold forwards and backwards. Even if it did, you did not perform the test properly. People will do anything to generate a dollar. I HAD been going here for quite some time. That just changed. Just for the record........(NCDMV website reference) (3) Handbrakes (auxiliary, parking or holding) shall not be approved if: (a) There is no lever reserve when the brake is fully applied. (b) Cables are visibly frayed or frozen, or there are missing or defective cotter pins or broken or missing retracting springs or worn rods or couplings. (c) The operating mechanism, when fully applied, fails to hold the brakes in the applied position without manual effort. (d) When emergency or handbrakes are applied they fail to hold vehicle.
