Wonder where the integrity is.   Let me save a you from trying to find it at this place.  My sons vehicle broke down in here in here in Montana.  I am from Utah, i called to find a mechanic to look at the vehicle.  I was really in a predicament and found Top Tech.  Spoke with Darren on the phone, he evaluated the vehicle and called to give me a quote.  He quoted me 3000.00.  Sent him a thousand to get the parts and get started.  A MONTH later, I finally got the vehicle back and paid 5100.00.  I have never met a man with less integrity then him. I was never told that the price would increase or gave him permission to do as much as he claimed he did.  I wished I could upload the texts, voice mails and pictures of the lies spewed by this man.  He sent my husband a picture of a leaky hose that was supposedly on my sons vehicle.  Needless to say that my sons Land Rover, does not have a turbo, 6.0 deisel engine.  It was an exhausting process, with endless promises to have the vehicle done week after week.  When I asked about an invoice, the pricing, what work was being done I got voice mails about his remodeling, his hunting, his collegiate games and how he was at the voting polls.  I dont blame him for having a life, what I blame him for is his lack of respect for me as a customer.  I had a budget for this work and he exceeded it against numerous requests to inform me of what was going on, his promises to complete a job and his exhausting stories that prohibited my son from having his vehicle for a month.  I honestly feel that if I hadnt come to Montana myself.  He would still be working on it.  

CHECK the BBB Site They have multiple complaints and D+ rating. Top Tech automotive charged me for repairs they didn't do. They said that they fixed the valves and machined the head; they also "repaired" an oil leak. The service took 14 days to "complete."  They kept running over on their estimated completion date.  I had multiple conversations with Darin the owner and he keep apologizing for the bad customer service. When I drove the Jeep away from the shop the radiator house blew off because they had used bad parts to install it. During the work they cracked the exhaust manifold.  I brought it back to them because Darin said they wanted to check the work.  He gave me a quote for the manifold repair and said they checked all of the work and everything else look good.

I brought the vehicle to another shop to have the manifold work done.  When the shop began the work they contacted me to tell me that the head is leaking oil and antifreeze and that the oil pan is leaking had had not been repaired and the transmission work had not been completed either.  He took pictures of all of the leaks and it was obvious that the leaks had been happening since the original work done at Top Tech.

When he took the head off the gasket was installed upside down.  He checked the head and the head has not been machined properly and will need to be redone.  The 10 of the 12 valves are leaking and had not been repaired as quoted.

I called top tech to determine if we could reach an agreement to resolve the issue.  Darin was rude and told me that he was not going to reimburse me any of the cost.  That I should have brought it back to them for the repairs.  I had already paid someone to start the work, I wasn't going to pay them and then and bring it back to Top Tech to have them do a bad job the second time. I was making a lengthy cross country trip and realized I had sever tire damage. I do not live in Billings (which is where I was when I realized the problem), and had no clue where to bring my car. AAA recommended Top Tech and so trusting them I went there right away. The manager was great, gave me an amazing deal and got me back on the road in no time. Thanks to Top Tech I made it to my destination safely, and with a new set of tires to beat! 

These people have gone above and beyond for me. I remember one time I was gone, my neighbor called me saying my other car's alarm was going off. I got a hold of Melissa and she went over right away and got it to stop... and it was dinner time!!! Darin and his team take such good care of my 1993 Mercury!
