I brought my car to the Smiley Lane Plaza shop and asked them to fix the mistakes that the downtown shop made. The downtown shop didn't torque the lug nuts on my car correctly, and the wheel almost flew off on the highway going to St. Louis. I got to St. Louis having lost 2 lug nuts, and the other 3 so loose I could turn them with my fingers. I tightened the lugs nuts that remained in the parking lot of the airport, and found the nearest auto parts store to replace the 2 that had fallen off. 

The Smiley Lane store checked the torque on all my wheels, and checked the tire for wear for free. I have a life-time alignment for that car so I expected them to do the alignment for free, but I can tell you that the car drove noticably better after did the alignment.

In addition, I asked them to reimburse me for the lug nuts I bought. This was only $8 dollars and didn't break the bank, but I felt I shouldn't have needed to buy them. It was really an integrity test, which the manager passed.He reimbursed my costs in cash.

He was willing to fix the problems caused by another shop free of charge, and without complaints. I really appreciated that.
