Autotire

 I took my car to Autotire in Ballwin for an oil change. They told us that we needed 4 new tires (because you can't just replace 2 tires on a 4 wheel drive jeep apparently). They said we also needed a tie rod, 2 ball joints and an alignment and that it would cost 1300 dollars.  I needed to replace the front bumper on my car so I took it first to the Dent Devil to have it done which is next door to Autotire. On 8/23/2012 I picked up my car from Dent Devil and they had replaced and painted the front bumper.  I drove it straight from the Dent Devil next door to Autotire  to have the work done they said the car needed.  When I picked up the car the next day, there were a couple scratches on my bumper that I had just replaced. I showed the Manager Mike the scratches and he said he would call the corporate office and report it and that they would call me. It is now Oct. 6th and I still have not been contacted by the office even though I called Mike back several times telling him I had not been contacted. The other thing I should mention is that I was told by another front desk worker that if we paid an extra 150 dollars for the tie rod and ball joints that we would have a life time warranty on these parts. When I later said something to Mike the manager, he told me that none of their parts have life time warranties. There is no telling what else I may have been lied to about as far as work needing to be done to my car.
