Mechanic down the road said to go to O'Reilly to get the $30 part and do the 15 minute repair. Problem solved. Not happy with the attempted scam. It seemed as if they recommended something for an issue they really didn't know how to fix, didn't care to research, OR an approach of new brakes just cause it's easy money for them. Ive left them a voicemail and email to return my call to discuss, but they haven't returned my call.
