My car is a KIA Carnival 2024, the folks did not have the oil filter that the car needed, so they had to order the filter that day. I was not a walk in and registered my car online... so I would've thought that a filter would have been ordered beforehand... but maybe that is not the protocol, anyways... That was the first unfortunate thing that happened. Not only did the person order the wrong filter, the filter took over 1.5 hrs to get on location. It was then that they realized that the filter was the wrong one. The second order of the correct filter also took over an hour... So at this point, it was around 12:30/1:30 and I was being as patient as I could... Losing a half days worth of work and then having to work later that night was what I was trying to avoid by scheduling the appointment at 10:00 a.m. The person working the computer that day was really nice and I really wish I didn't have this kind of experience.... But waiting 4 hrs for an oil change is not ideal and then having to pay full price without any discount for the time spent on site was upsetting. I saw that they did leave some stuffed animals and a pack of wipes in the car, but at this point the damage had been done. If I do come back to Matt's for an oil change... I might be inclined to bring a filter myself so this type of incident doesn't happen again... I apologize for writing this and I do hope it is a one off incident. I will still be bringing the car for the next one... But if that one doesn't go well, I might have to find another local place to take our vehicle. Thanks for taking the time to read this!
Way over priced

I told them it was more than just the window motor as all of the windows would not work at times. The appraisal to fix the motor was $500+ which is an unbelievable number for a $120 part. Also, after I looked into the problem, I found that there was a broken wire which provided a fault for the windows. This lead to a realization that the window motor wasn’t faulty at all and Matt’s was going to charge me for a problem that wasn’t even there. I understand the need to make money to run a business but after my recent experience with Matt’s it has left me with a great distaste for them as a repair shop. I hope this helps improve your business. Have a good day.
