I brought an engine in November 2019 for a 2010 Chevy Silverado hybrid and 2 engines later still don't have the correct engine. The lack of communication with this company is horrible. I've never delt with a business that only texts, it seem like. I thought I did my homework with reading the reviews and researching but clearly not well enough. Just PLEASE DON'T NOT SHOP HERE!!! THEY WILL ONLY TAKE YOUR YOUR ????????

When the engine arrived (I live in New York) I installed it in My 67 Firebird and had the car towed to a local shop to have them prime And start the engine for the first time. Before starting the engine the shop while pressurizing the cylinders discovered that coolant was bubbling out of the radiator (the heads were leaking). That's when the repair bills started adding up. The heads had to be removed! During the process of removing the heads the mechanic at the shop called me to say that he noticed I had shimmed the pulleys because they were not lining up. He was curious so he removed the fuel pump and looked inside the timing chain cover (flashlight) And discovered that the timing chain was incorrectly installed and had one row completely off the timing gear. Now of course it was necessary To remove the Timing case cover. During this time I spoke with Autobohn Engines and was told to callback when the repairs were completed to discuss compensation. Unfortunately after repeated calls over several weeks the only thing I can reach at AutoBohn Engines is the answering machine and all my messages have gone Unanswered.
