I have been here several times, and while they aren't the lowest price I've found, they have always done a quality job. I've not been to another repair shop since I started going to them.

When I went there, he told me it was going to be more than he quoted me on the phone (only a $20 difference, but I was kind of put off by this at first). I said "Oh, you said it was going to be X amount on the phone. I must have heard you wrong." He didn't even miss a beat, apologized for the difference, and charged me the lesser amount. I don't know if it was his error or mine, but the fact that he was willing to do that without batting an eye really impressed me. I told him I would pay the higher amount (in case it was my error) and he wouldn't hear it. They offer all of the same perks as the chain stores, but give family-owned friendliness and customer service. I highly recommend Diamond Jim's.

I had known for about two months that I had a small leak in my front passenger side brake line, being the son of a former mechanic I had bought parts and planned on doing the work myself. However, weather and timing were not on my side. Took my car in and Matt and John took a look at it and found that my master cylinder had also went bad. They replaced the cylinder and found that I was right about the leak in the front passenger line, however Matt was pretty sure that the increased pressure from the new cylinder caused the leak. They replaced the line as well and now my car stops better than when I bought it. They did it at a reasonable price too, because I know that the same job at a dealership could have been $900-1000. I'll definitely be seeing them in the future.
