Yes, that's right Seventeen Hundred Dollars. When I picked it up I noticed a strange noise coming from the dash which has never gone away. I also noticed a strong gasoline smell anytime I stood near the car. After a couple of months the car started acting up again. As in won't start. Since I went broke paying for the fuel pump I had to find a friend of a friend of a friend who took pity on me and thought it might be the fuel pump again. While I watched he put the car on a lift and raised it and proceeded to remove the gas tank. My fuel pump is inside of the gas tank. When he did this we saw that one of the hoses to the gas tank had been reattached using a garbage bag twistie!!! AND the other hose was totally NOT attached at all which explains the gasoline smell. As of yesterday my car needs another fuel pump. My car hasn't run right since Churchville Auto worked on it. The price of this new fuel pump, including labor is $650.00. Yes, that's Six Hundred and Fifty Dollars. So, you decide for yourself if you want to take your car to Churchville Auto. Need I say more.
