This increase affected the amount financed. When I brought this matter to the attention of Salim (his wife) , she stated that the finance company was charging me the $300.42 for not paying cash and because they were financing the balance of the sell for me. I contacted the financial institution WL and the representative stated that their company does not charge such a fee. The finance company was concerned that bogus information was being given to customer. I immediate called the salesman and his wife. I left a message for the wife. I spoke to M---- who stated that this fee was the Ameri-Benz doc fee. I told him I had already been billed a doc fee of $29.00. He told me to contact his wife, who will not return my calls. I have been calling the salesman and his wife since 3/2/2016 (made my concern known on 3/1/16) to date. I have called the dealership twice to try to resolve this matter to obtain a refund for the erroneous fees she assessed me. I have placed 7 telephone calls collectively to the owner and to his wife (who prepared the loan papers) and to date neither of them will return my telephone call.

They are by far the most expensive shop in the area. I do not mean expensive in terms of quality, but in terms of writing unnecessary repair estimates on vehicles. They usually write 40-50% higher estimates than other shops in the area. What customers do not realize is the higher the repair cost on the vehicle the lower the value of the vehicle will be in when they go to sell it. Their business practices are questionable at best. If Spectrum does not get exactly what they want on their estimate they will hold the car hostage until they receive full payment, even if some of the services they provide were not done. They also have a history of keeping the car longer than needed to complete the repairs. An average repair that would take 5 days usually results in a month because of multiple supplement requests and unwillingness to work fairly with the insurance company. We have also received many complaints on the quality of the repairs done and complaints about work not being completely done. As long as Glen Massie is running this shop I would STAY AWAY! Take it from the experts, you do not want to take your car here.

I lucked into it about eight years when I was again hit while parking on DC streets. Ty offers personal, reliable service with free estimates. Work is reasonably priced, done on time and is guaranteed. I have recommended his shop to several of my friends and they were equally pleased. My car is ten years old and looks new as Ty uses excellent products and does paint matching that restores my car to its original look. Try this shop once and you will be back.
