There were a bunch of fault codes that could not be figured out as well as a vibration for a previous inspection. While I did receive a report with comments and recommended work, it did not get to the heart of what I originally requested. When I asked and followed up, nothing additional was found. It was not until I took the vehicle for an inspection following vehicle purchase that I learned of a host of issues that were not previously identified. There was an exhaust leak, the vibration at the rear of the vehicle was a much larger issue requiring additional diagnosis, the headlight seals were busted, and the remaining fault codes rendered parts of the vehicle inoperable. Had I known the majority of these issues beforehand, I would not have purchased the vehicle. It is disappointing that I was charged $332.80 for the comments and recommendations that I received, and the saving grace for the issues that allowed me to get from under the purchase from another mechanic’s shop for free.

I called the expert mechanic at the marina, and the canniest lady with a buck I knew. I asked both where they would take a job like this. They both said "Jerry Hill!" with enthusiasm. So I did, and I've been enthusiastic ever since. Expertise and Honesty aren't always offered (especially to single women) by auto repair shops, but you can find both in abundance here.
