They were rude and charged me over 200 dollars for a service that should have been under warranty. Do not go there. I believe that Steve the manager charged me the price because I am an elderly woman.

I continued to go for a few other repairs until a few male friends told me I was paying way too high a price for repairs. I decided to shop around. I was quoted a price of $650 for a new timing belt when the dealer told me $500. Of course I went to the dealer and got a new car to drive to boot while my car was being fixed. I called Ed's again for a quote for a new oil pan... I was quoted a price that was $120 higher than I ended up being charged elsewhere. When I mentioned this to the assistant manager he got defensive and said, "Yeah. But were they going to put in all the new parts I was going to?" I gave them a glowing review on their website and wish it could be erased as, now, I think I was given high prices because I was female. Beware. Check around before going here.

We tried out four shops in Easthampton and Northampton. Only Full Tilt gave us a detailed estimate on the spot, and we went with them. Lucky we did! These guys are ace mechanics, smart, careful, thorough, very hard-working, and best of all, honest. They bent over backward to have the car ready for us on time, cleaned inside and out, all at the estimated price - and it looks better than new! This kind of workmanship is very rare these days.
