WOW, My car failed inpection, He gave me a list of things that needed ... read more WOW, My car failed inpection, He gave me a list of things that needed to be done in order for it to pass and a quote to fix it all. Honestly, the quote seemed reasonable but I took it to another Garage to get a comparative quote. The difference was huge. I got the work done and took it back to get re-inspected. It failed again. He claimed one of the items I had fixed still needed to be done. Took it elsewhere to get re-inpected and passed. Here's the deal, He's taking advantage of his position as an inpection station and using it as a way to get more business. I was warned about him but I wanted to make my own mind up. Well, I have. Every interaction with him seemed like I was being hustled. He says, "I always try to do what's best for my customers" and he says it often. Maybe he believes that just saying it over and over will make you believe it. Hell, he may even beleive it himself.

No nonsense, honest assessment of your car's problem, with no upselling or exaggerating. Just the facts, with quality service and parts, at less than dealership prices. They do specialize in Toyota/Lexus, but I've brought my Hondas there for years and have been very pleased. I've found a place I can trust, and that's where I'll bring all my family's vehicles.
I"ve never been to AAMCO for auto service,I've gone to other shops I t... read more I"ve never been to AAMCO for auto service,I've gone to other shops I thought I knew fairly well> I had transmision issues with both my vehicles within a month< along with other vehicle problems.The other shops had different diagnosis for the problems. After much time in the shops ,and substantial cash outlays, the problems persisted to some extent in both vehicles. I went to AAMCO,I had my transmission problems pinpointed very promptly, I discussed other suspension issues,engine isues, that I was having with both vehicles,I told the tech I was very discouraged with the other shops, I wasn't sure of my next move.THe tech told me that he would get to the root of the problems,HE SURE DID! My transmisions were fixed ASAP,and the problems that were so elusive to others,were handily identified and resolved.AAMCO went above and beyond any expectations I had.These guys are the best.They deserve all the credit in the world. I would very highly recommend AAMCO for any and all repairs to your vehicle
