They told me they would check and let me know. No one called me back. I called 4x (once a week) for the next 4 weeks. No one would ever call me back. I finally got ahold of Ted Lemay else discussed what was going on with the boat..he gave me piece of mind that the boat was winterized. (Which they didn’t do anything it was don’t correctly) we discussed a few things about the bout regarding upholstery etc. he quoted me $700 and said it would be done by the end of the week. 6 weeks later after being told it will be ready by the weekend every week. My bill is now $1400 and they didn’t do everything he said they would do. Do not take your boat here. This is not how you do business. I promise there are better places in town.
06/12/2011 this company is a joke!!!i bought a used motor for my bo... read more 06/12/2011 this company is a joke!!!i bought a used motor for my boat from them,and have had nothing but trouble out of it,because they sold me a defective motor that they dont know how to work on. from the very first,they tried to get over on me every way that they could. 1] trying to change the quoted price on me,after the motor was installed. 2]after the motor was installed,they STOLE my other motor from me!!![yes,i said stole!!!] 3]they did a piss poor job of installing the motor!!!! A}they left bare wires hanging that were shorting out every time the boat bounced B}they did not properly install the motor at the right depth/height,so it could not plane out! C}they did not properly route the wires/cables through the factory cutouts,they just tucked the cables under the carpet they also damaged my trailer while they had it,because i had barely left their yard before the fender/running board fell off,because they had backed it into the test tank. my sonar transducer was also damaged,probably for the same reason. after letting them try to make the motor right,they 'were not able to find anything wrong with it'[they do not have any certified mechanics!!!],but,they rebuilt the carburetors,anyway,and i had to wind up taking the boat to a dealership to get the parts they LEFT OUT OF THE CARBURETORS replaced. there is SO MUCH wrong with this company i cant even begin to list it all,but,when i saw what a junkyard their office/shop was,i should have known better!!! every legitimate boat dealer/shop i have mentioned their name to has since warned me about them,and told me that they are well known for "getting over on people!'. i tried to look them up online before i did business with them,but,nobody had bothered to do a review on them. i hope this helps out someone before they get raped by a bunch of lousy swindlers like i did!! i spent THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS on this motor,and i have NEVER felt as badly SCREWED OVER as i do now. DO NOT DO
