David is fantastic at explaining things in detail & talking through what needs to be fixed. I am a single mother & never worried a bit about being ripped off. Yes, however, they price gouged the starter and said the verbal estimate given over the phone did not occur. When I brought this to their attention I was told, this is how I make money, off of parts. Seriously? You make your real money off labor. They charged $165.00 for a remanufactured starter that literally cost $74.00 a block down the road, but what s worse??? They DID NOT honor their estimate AND they did additional work to the car without authorization. This is why I go to places like Tires Plus... at least they are held to standardized costing. Ridiculous. I will NEVER go there again and I ll tell everyone I come across not to as well. I learned a valuable lesson. GET IT IN WRITING!

He was very detailed in assessment and advocated in our best interest. He knows VWs and wish he were in CO so he could be our full time mechanic. PS Not sure about the reviewers on friendliness. Dave is wonderful...maybe it's the customer?
